I decided to do some chalk painting today. I tackled the dining room table, antique chest and some candle holders. Everything will soon be charcoal color.
Once I get started, I just can’t stop. Tucker is in hiding. He doesn’t want to be charcoal painted.
The sides have one coat and the top has two. They are both in the drying process, and need a glaze or top coat or both. The original chest is what you see on the right panel and is being repaired. Still have some work to do, but my vision will soon be realized.
I may or may not post the final product or I may go furniture shopping. I’m sure my husband will love them no matter how they turn out in order to avoid this.😏
They look really good! I want to see Tucker charcoaled, though 😉
