I may have have missed the day, but I have not missed the message during this month in which we celebrate the life and times of powerful beings…women.
I try to teach my granddaughters to love and respect themselves first and to always stick by each other and hold each others hand through life. To be there for each other and never try to make themselves relevant by tearing down the other. I hope they will hold that respect in their hearts and souls for themselves, each other and all of their sisters in this world.
To all my girls, let your colors shine through and don’t ever let anyone ever clip your wings.
To my daughter, I love you and am so proud of the woman you have become and the wonderful mother you are and who I aspire to be.
And a message to my boys, “A man’s manhood is reflected in the way, he treats all the women in his life!”
