We are two happy grandparents. We will soon be welcoming a grandson to our already beautiful family of granddaughters.

Rick, my son and Gina have been so diligent in keeping their secret. They’ve known over a month and no matter how I’ve tried I could not even get the tiniest slip up or inkling as to the gender. Believe me, I tried. Ricky has dubbed them “masters of suspense.”

My husband I won the pool. We both picked baby boy as our guess. Gina’s brother also chose boy. Everyone else thought it would be a girl. Ava also chose a boy, but only after she found out it was a boy. Both girls weren’t too happy with the outcome, but I’m sure when their new cousin comes along he will be a delight to them (because he will be a new baby doll to take care of) Liv was disappointed she didn’t meet him today.

Much love was showered on Gina and Ricky. With best wishes for health and happiness for the beginning of their little family. We love you.

We also celebrated Gina’s birthday. Sorry, Gina…almost forgot that important part of the day. I guess that happens when a baby is coming. We all get used to sharing the limelight. Okay, maybe not all of us. It will always be your day.
